"Note To A Beautiful Heart" Poem by Victoria Grace

 

(To anyone who needs to hear it)

You may not have known this but your heart is a rare and exceptional thing.

It’s an extension of your spirit, an outgrowth of your soul and what has kept joy alive.

It has succeeded in bringing together the harmony that exists within an inner universe and it is more than glue but dynamic bonds of hope and strength.

You have a beautiful heart because nothing has been broken that could have been shattered by disturbed time, deception and unnecessary hatreds.

The dramas of unwanted demons and distorted realities have not infested that beating core like worms in rotten fruit. It has instead flourished and thrived into an organism of unusual and unparalleled integrity and vitality.

Too many pointless distractions have been had, obstructing the riches of many kinds you have had the right to obtain, but the truth cannot be legitimately obscured, erased or deleted even in a world where beauty is attacked by pain and light opposed by the dark.

It is a reality that shows up and out as a simple state of being.
